This quote reminds us of how our natural surrounding has a unique way to reflect our mood. Malaysia is blessed to have beautiful weather most of the time of the year. This is reflected in our famous Malaysian hospitality, cheerfulness and friendliness.

I create my own interpretation of this quote by using the pouring technique. It is a highly challenging technique and when you get it right, it is rewarding. Getting this technique right requires the artist to understand the properties of the different colours and the expected result from the merging of the colours used. The result is often a pleasant surprise like what is represented in this piece that I have created. The vibrant colours are so appealing that it can only happen when we allow it to flow and merge at its own will. The completed piece in its blue splendor now wears the colours the spirit.
