Guardians For The Rhinos

Summary

Rhinos once roamed throughout Eurasia and Africa and were known to early Europeans who depicted them in cave painting. From a population of 30,000 to 2,550 in the last 30 years, today very few rhinos survive outside national parks and reserves due to persistent poaching and habitat loss over many decades. While many laws were constantly created for its protection, illegal activities remains a main threat contributing to its near extinction.

This painting is created to move audience towards the awareness of protecting Rhinos from the poachers depicted by the black leopard crouching in the dark.
