Sauntering along the Loop, up Main Trail and down Selang, Trail in Kubah National Park

Summary

At the foot of the steep slope up the Main Trail, the majestic Kapur hugs a smaller tree: “I hug thee, Gentle Giant, and pray to share thy energy with me for the tough climb".
• A bench near the top offers me a chance to rest and see the Elegant Leaf.
• The Tortured Tree nearby, still strong and full of life, encourages me to walk on.
• Later on and after crossing many enchanted streams, I meet the mysterious Ekor Buaya, which can only be found on Mount Selang.
• On top of the vertiginous way back, the sight of Nature's Sculpture, in the shape of a wooden bird lightens my steps for the descent.
