PEIYU (MARIAN CHIN)

Summary

For as long as she can remember, art has always been part of her life. First memory being at 2 or 3 years old, looking through a dried leaf marked with cracks and holes that was held against sunlight and seeing the marvel of shapes and shadows.

After completing her studies at a commercial art school in London, she began working as a graphic designer and illustrator for various publishing houses in Manhattan, New York.

Peiyu started painting with acrylics very late in her life at the age of 53. From 2007 to 2010, she has painted over 30 pieces.

With a total lapse of 15 years, she takes on a new attempt to paint again. She aims to be inspired and collaborate with artists in and out of Kuching by joining SAS.

BEHIND CAME FIRST
Titan ran away because of the sound of fireworks. 3 weeks after his disappearance, the the owner took in a young “Titan” only to find him the day after.
