Born and raised in Kuching, Sarawak, Leonard Siaw’s artistic journey began as a self-taught muralist. His artwork is deeply intertwined with the intimacy and relationships he shares with his subjects, infusing his distinctive style with the given title or theme. Through his adept use of colour, dynamic motion, and impactful imagery, he breathes life into his work.

Leonard Siaw’s awe-inspiring mural art pieces are a testament to the rich, vibrant cultures, stories, and history of Sarawak. They serve as heartfelt tributes to his homeland and have ignited a resurgence in public interest in the region’s art scene. Currently, Leonard Siaw’s career in wall art is primarily centred in Kuching. In addition to his mural work, he has been a dedicated member of the Sarawak Artists Society since 2016. Recently, he has expanded his creative horizons by venturing into canvas painting.
